Quartz Processing Plant

High-purity quartz manufacturing solutions for industrial, commercial, and construction applications.

Plant Overview

A Quartz Processing Plant is engineered to produce high-purity quartz products for a wide range of industrial applications. The plant processes carefully selected raw quartz stones with high silica content and minimal impurities to ensure superior product quality. The process begins with crushing large quartz rocks using jaw and cone crushers to achieve manageable sizes, followed by screening and grading through vibratory sieves to separate materials into different particle sizes such as quartz lumps, grits, and powders. For finer applications, grinding systems including ball mills and micronizers are used to produce quartz powders in various mesh sizes. The processed quartz is widely used in industries such as glass manufacturing, ceramics, construction materials, paints and coatings, foundry molds, and engineered stone production.

Detailed View Of the Process

1. Crushing

Large quartz stones are fed into jaw and cone crushers to reduce them into smaller, manageable sizes. Purpose:
• Size reduction
• Uniform material preparation
• Improved processing efficiency

2. Screening & Grading

Crushed quartz is screened through vibratory sieves to separate it into different mesh sizes. Available Grades:
• Quartz lumps
• Quartz grits (0.1 to 0.4 mm & 0.4 to 0.7 mm)
• Quartz powder
• Custom mesh sizes

3. Grinding

For fine applications, quartz is ground into powder using ball mills and micronizing systems. Output Sizes:
• 100 mesh
• 200 mesh
• 325 mesh
• Micronized powder
